About the Author
Maren Showkeir
Maren brought nearly 25 years of experience in writing, editing and managing people when she joined henning-showkeir & associates, inc., inc. in 2005. She spent her early career working at newspapers. In 2003, she was awarded two Knight Fellowships through the International Center for Journalists based in Washington, D.C. As a fellow she taught senior-level journalism at universities in Argentina and Peru, and helped to develop workshops for journalists in the provinces who had few opportunities for formal training. Since joining hsa, she has been directly involved in helping organizations interested in building cultures of accountability to improve business results. She and her husband, Jamie, live in Phoenix, AZ.
