Crazy Literary Facts: Salinger

Many people who went to high school with J.D. Salinger will have a hard time proving that he signed their yearbooks, even if he did. This is because Salinger was so obsessed with acting and so loved it that he often signed yearbooks with the names of the characters he had played in high school plays.

Unfortunately, Salinger's father didn't think much of his son's passion and forced him to go to NYU. He dropped out soon after.
