How to Navigate Websites That Use Ad-Block Detectors

If you are not familiar with them, ad-block programs are those that you incorporate into your web browser to block ads from popping up on some of the sites you visit.

Yes, the ads are what support the sites and by blocking them you are getting something for nothing and blah blah blah--bottom line: ads are annoying are rarely accurately targeted. The problem is that many sites (such as Forbes.com) use ad-block detectors that will insist that you switch off ad-block protection while using their site or else will not be allowed to access any information on the site. But a quick workaround is to get the article URL and post it into the google search box. Then you can view google's "cached" version of the website--ad-free!
