Iktsuarpok is a word in the Inuit language that is difficult to translate but easy to understand as a sentiment. Put simply: you know that feeling of anticipation when you are waiting for someone to show up at your house and you keep going outside to see if they are approaching in the distance? That specific form or restlessness based on waiting for someone is called iktsuarpok.
